Helping Teachers

Digital natives are high tech. You can learn with Zoe at Computers for Seniors (and Technophobes)  how to integrate fun technology resources into your lesson. I can help you design interactive lessons to increase engagement in the classroom. Call Zoe today 0407 956 071 to discuss your needs. Learn at your pace, place and time – specifically what you need.

One of the programs which utilises their mobile phones in the classroom  is www.mentimeter.com which provides voting with smartphones. This can be fun and also educational at the same time. It is free and web based.

All you do is simply

1 Ask a question

Sign up on the web and write the question you want to ask. You can start from scratch or use one of our best practice examples.

The audience votes on your question

2 The audience votes

Your audience goes to the voting website, enters the code for your presentation and votes. No installation or setup needed.

The votes gathered are shown in real-time

3 See the result in real-time

The result will be displayed in real-time as the votes come in. Of course you can also hide the results until everybody is finished.
